(The roleplay takes place after the two year timeskip.)
It is two years after Naruto discovered he was cursed with the Nine-Tailed Fox. The Akatsuki have grown in numbers. Though they have only stolen the Shukaku Bijuu, they were still very active, until they were challenged.
A ninja who beleive he could destroy the Akatsuki challenged the group. The odds seemed to be against him but they weren't. This ninja revealed a special power. He posessed a Black Aura. It was Chakra. Dark chakra.
It was capable of destroying an entire army, and if combined with another strong being, it could destroy a whole village. The Akatsuki had to retreat, after loosing more than half their Shinobi. It was a small group of only twenty people, excluding Kisame.
They had to change their plans. They now wanted to extract the Dark Chakra out of anyone posessing it. With it, they will give it to the Nina Bijuu and use the power to destroy every village on the map. Even Orochimaru has joined the Akatsuki to help in the destruction.
Now, the five main villages have joined together to stop the Akatsuki's plans. The Akatsuki haven't made a move yet, so the villages are training their ninjas incase they suddenly do.
